Wilson had a vision of what the ideal veterinary hospital should be, and it is because of this vision that East Lincoln Animal Hospital is an efficient state-of-the art facility. He founded East Lincoln Animal Hospital in Denver in 1978 to provide the Denver area with the best veterinary care possible. Wilson is a native of North Carolina and a 1976 graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. Dunkle enjoys reading, playing chess, and playing with his cat Luther.ĭr. Dunkle has a special interest in urgent care, ophthalmology, and medical oncology. Dunkle was one of the first members of NC State’s student chapter of the international association for animal hospice and palliative care (IMHPC) as well as being active in the student veterinary emergency and critical care society. Graduating with a bachelor’s in pre-professional biology from Montreat College, Dylan went on to veterinary school at North Carolina State University. His love and interest in veterinarian medicine grew with the rescue and adoption of two abandoned five pound German Shepherd puppies who ended up going away to college with him. Dunkle found great joy in caring for him and other rescue pets that came to live in the Dunkle home. Dylan’s love for animals began as a child when his first cat arrived at his house as a stray. He and his three siblings enjoyed watersports and swimming on Lake Norman during their summers. Dunkle grew up in Denver, North Carolina. She enjoys exploring the outdoors and hiking, traveling, and watching college football (Go Hokies!).ĭr.

Seymour lives in Huntersville with her husband, their Golden Retriever, and three cats.

Seymour also runs our Clinical Trial service, increasing our ability to offer the latest treatments and therapies for our patients.ĭr. She also has a special passion for providing cancer diagnostics, treatments and hospice care to the patients of East Lincoln Animal Hospital.

Seymour’s professional interests include client education and preventative care, dentistry, and internal medicine. After spending three years practicing in Western Massachusetts as an Oncology Hospitalist and Chief of Wellness Medicine, she returned to North Carolina to join East Lincoln Animal Hospital in 2017.ĭr. to pursue advanced training in medical oncology through a specialty internship with The Oncology Service. She then spent two years in general practice at a small animal hospital in Charlotte. Seymour completed a small animal internship at Friendship Hospital for Animals in Washington, D.C. Seymour graduated from Virginia Tech in 2006 with a BS in Biology and Psychology, and from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine with her doctorate in 2010.Īfter graduation, Dr. She also spent a semester abroad in Australia studying native wildlife and neuroscience. She is forever a Hokie after spending eight years in beautiful Blacksburg, Virginia to attend school. Seymour was born and raised in Northern Virginia.
